The psychological aspects of a woman’s health are complex. It is important to be confident that a therapist truly has empathy for women, and for the subtle factors that influence both her body and her mind.
My belief is that treating women requires a commitment to, and understanding of their unique psychological needs. After extensive training in the full range of emotional behaviors, I have made caring for women the special focus of my practice.
Here, women find a warm, compassionate and nonjudgmental environment during what may be a painful, confusing and potentially critical time.
My approach is to treat the whole person, with an understanding of how a physical condition or illness contributes to, and interacts with, mental health. When needed, I work in close partnership with a woman’s physician to achieve the best possible outcome.
